The refund of GST paid on capital goods is not allowed because capital goods are not covered under Net ITC as per Rule 89 of The CGST Rules 2017. Also, in Circular No. 18/18/2017-GST, dated 16-11-2017 also it is clarified that ITC on capital goods is not refundable under the LUT option. It would get added to the cost of goods
